The fundamental aspects of Yogiville Gurukul are of upholding the ancient, original, authentic principles of yoga and meditation as both an art and science. Founded in 2003, by Yogi Ashokananda, the founder and master of the disciplines taught in the school. Â
Yogiville Gurukul provides the system for the student to learn from their Teacher through observation, lecture, immersion, and experience as in the ancient education model. Yogiville Gurukul invites Schools of authentic Vedic, holistic and complementary health studies and traditions to join Yogiville Gurukul.Â
Currently, more than 500 students from 25 countries spanning 6 continents have participated in our training programs.
Yoga, Meditation, Pranayama, Ayurveda, Chanting are the cornerstones of the Yogiville Gurukul with teachers who have developed specific disciplines or who have personally transformed through the study, practice and teaching and are committed to a yoga lifestyle.
The primary objective of the Yogiville Gurukul is to create longevity, support, and continuity for the Schools’ disciplines. Students participate in Yogiville Gurukul to generate awareness, transformation through self-development, to deepen experiences within & across disciplines and may also aspire to teach.Â
Yogiville Gurukul functions on a global basis, enabling learning in classrooms across many countries, including United Kingdom and immersion residential programs in Europe & Asia and via digital classrooms.Â
A complete schedule of courses is available online, featuring foundation, teachers’ training certificate courses and speciality courses in the disciplines of Himalayan Hatha Yoga, Prana Kriya Yoga, Atma Kriya Meditation, Pranayama & Ayurveda. Our school is certified by Yoga Alliance Professionals UK as a Trainer Pro and our courses are certified under this advanced program.Â

Yogi Ashokananda is the founder of Himalayan Hatha Yoga, Prana Kriya Yoga and Atma Kriya Meditation practices that reflect his strong respect for yoga as a complete holistic system and which have their roots in ancient, sacred Indian tradition.Â
